I got the Dlink-950G back and operating, but people can only see the picture with Internet Explorer, it does not seem to work with Mozzila or Netscape.
Anyone out there know why this is happening.

the 950 uses activex which is only supported by internet explorer. if you want a camera that is supported by other browsers get a 900. it uses both activex and java.

I sent the other 950G back because it would quite working after about 20 minutes, and needed to be reset.
Now this one has worked for about 6 hours, but after leaving the camera on overnight, and turning off my computer, then turning the computer on this morning to check if I could see the picture its no longer working.
I don't know if turning the computer off and on causes that or , if the camera is no good.
I will need to leave my computer on for an extended time to see if the camera stayes on ,or not.
I really think the Dlink 950G is a lemon.

Thats strange.
Well if I remember correctly you set the camera up to be viewed on your website right? what you could do is just keep the camera running, turn off your pc and get someone else to see if they can view the camera on your site or connect to it remotely.
Did you have it on your website or working remotely? _________________ Administrator

I don't have the IP address listed on my website yet, here it is http://24.230.176.218:80
maybe you can check it out to see if it's still working.
One more thing, I cannot get the audio turned of on it, I don't want any audio coming through, but can't seem to find where to do that.

I just talked to Dlink tech support, and they tell me there is no way to
turn of the audio, from going out on the internet.
I put tape over the little hole where the mike is located on the camera, and that did not help.
Must be a good mike to pick up sound like that, but that is really the pitts
not to be able to turn of the audio.
I may have to wait till the warrenty runs out , then cut the mike wires off.

Well thats good to know about the audio.
Thats odd there is no way to turn it off. One reason is bandwidth. If you are allowing others to view your camera over the Internet and your transmitting video and audio it is a killer on bandwidth whereas transmitting just video is easier on the load.
I'm sorry to hear about that. _________________ Administrator
