Hi everyone,

I'm currently using a DCS-G900 and a DCS-900 using the included D-ViewCam software that came with them. My problem is that the software builds the recorded file hourly and this makes playback of 6+ hours a pain, having to open the last hour, close the last hour, etc...not to mention the software is pretty laggy. I'm looking for a free/cheap alternative software that supports these cams, but can build the file daily and not hourly. Unless there is a setting on the D-ViewCam software I've missed that can accomplish what I need done. Space is not a concern and long as there is an option to record over old video @ approx. 500GB. . D-link support hung up on me 3 times, without an answer. Any tips?

Thanks,

Ben

I think I read that Milestone has a free 1 camera version or something like that. I also think they support the cheaper cameras like the D-links.
