Im thinking about starting up reality show than would be fed to my web site so any number of members that are logged in can watch real time video.
There will be different scienes in different parts of the city where wireless internet is available from satelite of internet povider(not from small local source like in hotels or wireless cafes)
Will IP camera be strong enough to pick up this signal(meaning from satelite of internet provider)?
And what type of cameras would you suggest if i need it to portable and be able to feed video directly to my web page so others can watch it and listen it in real time?

Hi, my suggestion would be using some good quality Axis PTZ dome cameras with day / night function. You will needs lots of lighting as IP cameras become blurry with motion in the dark.

You can then connect to a broadband satellite via a router.

The video can be broadcast to a windows media server or use a service such at http://www.liveaudiostreaming.com to stream video which can stream full frame rate video and syncronized audio to 100's to 1000's of viewers depending on the bandwidth or package you choose.

An alternative is to connect a DV camera to a laptop with USB 3G broadband or satellite broadband connection. This method will enable you to insert ads, text and other production material while broadcasting.

A streaming package is your best bet to keep bandwidth costs down and is the only way to serve multiple video streams without sacrificing speed and quality.
