Hi
I hope someone can help me as I am completely and totally confused about my Axis 207W camera.
It has been set up previously at a site to view over the internet, but now I have moved it to a different location and the camera was also reset.
How can I get this thing to work over the internet?I currently have a DynDns registration, I just don't know how to go about configuring my router and the camera. Is there any step by step guide available or does any one know what I can do to get this working?
My router is a SMC Barricade model SMC7904WBRA2.
Thanks, would appreciate if someone could assist me.

Did you lose your manual - http://www.smc.com/files/AO/MN_7904WBRA2.pdf
Login to your routers website (should be 192.168.2.1 if you didn't change it) and select the NAT option and then Virtual Server under that. Put the IP address of your camera and the port number and you could chose a public port number, otherwise leave it at 80 which most cameras default to. It's all on page 86 of the manual.

I'm new to this. I just got an Axis 207W and have an SMC wireless barricade.
I followed the advice above setting up a permanent IP address for the camera and the virtual server settings.
Prior to doing that I hadn't been able to view the camera accept when I'm at home. From work it wouldn't connect.
Since I've followed the above instructions, will I be able to view the camera from work?
How exactly does this work anyway? How does my work computer know where to go?
Sorry if I'm not being clear, I'm a novice to all this.
Thanks.
