A new feature has been added to the NetworkCameraReviews.com website!

Network cameras now have a "Software" section where you can find out which software programs work with your camera. You will be able to view summaries of the software solutions available as well as screenshots, features, cost and a link to the company offering the software.

If you are a software company offering network camera software, sign up for a NetworkCameraReviews.com software account by registering here, http://www.networkcamerareviews.com/software/register.html.

I have been requested to buy this software ProSightSMB-04C over the Snap Manager Sony 4.0 for several reasons. What the best IP camera software to buy that will also allow me to record to my hard drive while also being able to monitor to camera from far via the internet. Cool

How many cameras do you have nvrpc? Milestone offers a one-camera free license that works pretty good.

Quick question. Which version of their software is free for a one camera license? It doesn't specify. I downloaded the Professional and I'm at 28 days. I only want to use it with one camera, but it's telling me the software needs to be registered (buy license) in two days. Do I need to download the "Basic" version, or call a distributor to get a license for a single camera?

Thanks for your help!

As far as I recall, you receive the Enterprise version and there is no time limit.

So I should download the Enterprise version from their website, or do I need to get a special version from a reseller?

Please try Griffid Monitoring Station software. You can download a trial version from our website; www.griffid.com

Very easy to use sofware, supports most IP camera's and DVR's also has NVR functionality, motion detection etc.

Hi Adam,

If you look at the front page of our website, you will see a link in the following text...
Quote:
Try it: FREE XPROTECTâ„¢ LICENSE! Experience Milestone with a free 1 camera version of XProtectâ„¢ Professional and enrich your IP network camera management!

It will bring you to a page with some more information about the software, and there is a button at the bottom which says "Continue to Registration"
http://www.milestonesys.com/?cid=974

If the promo code isn't automatically filled in at the top, it is "MSWEB04067B"

Keep in mind that you will need the MAC address of the camera to complete registration.

By the way - it is possible to re-register the software with other camera (with different MAC address) to test the support of few different IP cameras one by one.

If you just want to try a few different cameras, why not just use the trial version which is aimed at that purpose?
