Hello I have an outdoor 213 PTZ camera for about a year now.
It worked fine but since a few months I cant get it to focus properly anymore.
Closeup is fine but from like 30m+ it gets all vague..
I tried overuling it with the manual focus but this didnt make it any better..
Please help me out

Hi,
Don't know if this will help; the auto-focus function will typically search for vertical lines in the image, and then adjust the focus so that the vertical lines become as thin as possible. Also note that if the image is in focus for an object close to the cam, it will be out of focus for objects further away.
Maybe try to reposition the cam...

Hi Peukje,
Can I ask what firmware the camera is on? Older firmware versions can sometimes be problematic when it comes to focussing. Also, you may like to make sure that there are no smears or fimger marks on the lens or dome. These can confuse the focus algorithm.
