Hello,

In the nearby future I want to stream a network camera on my site, but therefore I would like to use as less media as possible.
In a few other topics I found kind of the same problem, but not a good solution:
The problem is that my upload connection is pretty slow, and I guess I can only provide 1 or 2 people with a clear image....

In another topic I found "Mogulus" as solution but I didn't found an option to stream live image form an URL. I did found the option to stream a webcam, but to use that I need a PC turned on whole day and night, witch I don’t prefer…

Does anyone know a (pay) site/server witch can get video from an URL, copy it and stream it. So there is one connection between the network camera and the site/server, and lots of connections between viewers and the site/server?

Also I am looking for a really good image quality (day AND night) network camera, that supports the needed for above, and it would be nice if it has a programmable Pan and Tilt so it can turn around... The camera shall be used indoor.
Does anyone know a network camera that meets the above requirements?

Best regards,
Jeffrey

Hi,

Depending on what IP camera you have it can be very simple to stream video from an IP camera to your webpage to lots of visitors with great quality.

Some IP cameras can stream (upload) just 1 video stream to a server. A service like our video streaming service duplicates the stream and can serve 100's to1000's of visitors, the server does all the hard work and nobody will ever know the real address of the IP cam which is good for security too.

You would be looking at a cost of around $3.00 to $12.00 per stream which will give between realtime dial-up/mobile video to high quality real time video streams. No setup costs.

If you do not need to serve realtime video and would be happy with high quality images that are refreshed every 2~3 seconds then any web hosting package will meet your basic needs.
