Obtain Zoom value form an AXIS IP Camera

Hello,

I recently purchased an AXIS 214 and it works just fine.

I developed an application that takes as input the video stream and presents it in a custom Java frame.

I was wondering whether ther is a way to obtain the zoom factor applyied.

Does anyone have any hint for me?

ok didn't resolve the problem entirly.

Let's say I bypassed it by trying to command it by openning an URL connection and then manage the selected zoom.

with the following url http://192.168.0.90/axis-cgi/com/ptz.cgi?camera=1&zoombar=178,horisontal&barcoord=0,10

and the instructions of the following link it is possible to do it
http://www.hccp.org/java-net-cookie-how-to.html

In other words the problem was the cookie that must be obtained and then sent back to the server again.
