heres what i got, Vivotek PZ6112 network pan tilt zoom camera, in a outdoor dome housing. heres my problem the camera is mounting in the dome, there seems to be a power surge, but about every 20 mins or so the camera freezes. i replaced the dome, camera, ethernet cable, 24Vac power suppley, ran new electrical to location, still no luck, camera just stays in a frozen state, even after power cycling. ethernet cable tested, checks out. i have 24v to the dome and 12v to the camera, i've done everything in know how to do. does any one have any suggestions????

If you test the camera elsewhere is it stable and OK?
(This should determine whether it's a faulty camera or problem with the location / install)

Maybe a UPS to smooth the mains power supply, if you think it is related to power disturbances?

Can you ping the camera's IP address after a glitch? i.e. is it still there on the network and responding?

the camera test out fine in another location.

it is already on a ups

when the camera is in the housing, it does not show up on the network and i can not ping the camera, going to run i new data cable today but i dont think thats the problem, i tested the data and it comes up clean.

when i first encountered this problem after a month of trying to troubleshoot, i replaced everything, dome, camera, 24vac, ups, even got new electrical ran to location. still having the same problem
