Has it to be software?

I recommend a C-MOR video recorder. It's a server solution, but all
is included. Software and good running hardware, installation trouble
and quickly up and running.

Hello,

I too was confused like you. You can convert the .hgd files via Total Video Converter, which is available for free trial. If you need any assistance pls get in touch.

Thanks

Hello,

How to locate a .hgd file. You can see the file name xxxxxx.hgd. I am talking about Vivotek IP Cameras. You can get the softwares required for your camera from vivotek website. You need to adjust the cam configurations properly and can view the backup recordings and even convert them to AVI files, which plays on Windows Media Player.

If you need any assistance, please feel free to get me on my Yahoo Messenger, bang_sledgehammer from 10 pm to 5 am Indian Standard Time.

Thanks

Hello,

Here is the website for the location of software, http://driverscollection.com/?file_cid=39458601072bb2672bc1228523c. You can download the software from there.

Can you tell me what format the recorded files are stored in.

Thanks
