Hi, I have an IBM NETVISTA 1.8Ghz pentium 4 with 1GB RAM and a 256MB 3D graphics card running win2K SP4 that has no problem playing the latest games.

I installed DViewCam V 2.0.2 on it and it crashes with an exception when I try to add a Dlink DCS 920 wireless camera to it. On a couple of occasions it bluescreened and dumped core, I had to reboot.

I contacted Dlink technical upport via email and they told me to install the latest DView Cam software, V 2.02 (The one already installed).

If DLINK made their camera API available I could write my own software it in C#. Other manufacturers like AXIS have open source API.

I get the impression that dlink outsource their software development to a cheap non Quality focused country and the result is crap software. Any opinions? How do I get dview cam recognizing my DCS 920 camera without crashing the operating system? Should I go with a different camera like AXIS?
