We have purchased a Vilar IP Camera (Vipcam) and are having problems with it. The camera is accessible through the internet, however, after approximately 4-5 hours it goes down giving us a "400 Bad Request" when we try to go back into the site.

Hi,
Where can I download this update?

I've been searching fot update's but can't find them. I'm having problems with the IR led's. The LED's still go ON even after disabeling them. I hope this update solves the problem.

I took the IRled's OUT of the cam.! That was the only solution.

I've been looking on www.vilar.cn but that is all chinees and they only have version 1.1.0.12

So Where to find 1.1.0.16 ??

Thanks.

Has anyone been able to obtain version 1.1.0.16 of the firmware? If yes, would someone be able to direct me to it? Thanks.

For anyone else who's having problems finding info on this camera, I've found that the Google Chinese-English translator does a surprisingly good job on the Vilar site. Go to google, click 'language tools' and get it to translate the site www.vilar.cn

Info I was looking for was the default admin password and login details.
For the record, it's admin and 123456

Hello from Finland,
I did buy Vimicro-Vilar IP camera (VS-IPC1002) from local shop, under label Opticam http://www.verkkokauppa.com/popups/prodinfo.php?id=32361.

Firmware is 1.1.0.18 and I am still looking something better - that camera would be set-up correctly, and default homepage could be changed.

It is funny - that camera does use Linux and Boa http-server, but it is done with Micro$oft - so other OS than Vista is not well supported:

Hi ALL,

Just been looking for the Vilar updates and came accross this site.

The links on this forum are no longer working?
I wonder if anyone has the updates that can be sent to me via email
Or is there a new web address

Many thanks

-Same problem here. "400 Bad Request" after few hours operating.
-Automatic reboot (in setup) is not working.
-IR-leds are always on (disabling from setup wont help)
