|

I have an install (many actually - a reoccuring problem) to do which requires me to get a video signal back to the dvr wirelessly. Local power everywhere - no way to run a video cable. The dvr inputs are analog.
Line of site from camera to dvr.
What about situations where there is no line of site.
Both situations average less than 700 feet ...typical much less than that...
Wireless IP camera then decode at dvr? 2.x ghz , 5.8ghz? MIcrowave?
Would like to keep good quality. Ideas? Thanks for the input...

Check www.wirelessoutdoorcam.com for some outdoor wireless 802.11g security cameras. We use them on our job sites and even have a couple about 2 miles away. We also use them as access point repeaters and daisy chain them when we need to go around buildings because the metal in them keeps us from going thru them with signal.
