Dear All

I can see my Sparklan cam anywhere but not my work place, all I see is a black screen after i login,
I've now taken my office laptop home and I can see the picture fine! (so i assume this is not a active x or direct x issue) . My office must be blocking some port? How can I find out which port been blocked?
if i can see the login page (with port 8000), does that means they don't block port 8000 ?

i've registered to Dyndns so that i type in xxx.dyndns.org:8000 to jump to my ipcam login page

IE version: IE6 and 7
ip cam : sparklan
router: Linksys WRT WRT54G
Web Port : 8000
Control Port: 5000
Streaming Port : 5001
View Port: 5100

please noted that : i have another Sony sn3 ipcam located in other area and this cam is working fine at my work place. it could be the reason of Sony ipcam using 1 port only that included control, streaming and view.

Appreciate anyone can help!

im not sure with the linksys router setting and your camera but try to enable TCP only when opening the ports of your camera and disable any RTSP setting on your camera. also try using a different public port because 80 is sometimes blocked

I dont think its a some blocking part, as i learnt from ur post that, you have granted access to ur camera. only thing is u canot see Video right?

It may be something with ur browser ur using or ur IP range may be in Deny Range, make it sure with ur Administrator.

Or Try to chk the protocol ur using to access camera, u must use HTTP / TCP -AV if ur accessing from Internet.
