Sony SNC RZ30N

I was given this today from a friend who had it laying around. I tried to use the setup software, but it did not reconize the camera. It pans when powered up, but shows no network light when plugged in. I am unsure if it works properly or not. It was never used as an ip camera so he is unsure of its function aswell. It was bought new so I'm sure it has been setting around a while.

Any information on getting the ip or getting started is greatly appreciated.
