the Dlink DCS-950G is my first taste of this technology and I like it. After some tinkering I got everything set up on it. My only question is about the email alert notification. With the notification a very very short (2 seconds maybe) video clip is attached with the email. Anyway to make the clip longer. I'm not looking to flood my email with a huge video file, but in the days of broadband 2 seconds is about useless. To be able to set the email attachment to 30 seconds on up to 2 minutes or so would be nice. Is there a way to pull this off anyone? I can't figure it out but still not giving up. Hooyer Dillingham

It is fixed to 2 seconds, I think it is caused the internal memory size. Other IP Cam just can send picture only. It is better than others.
You can try to use smart recording. It can record unlimit video and sort by hour. Not bad.
