Xprotect Corporate Vs. OnSSI

Can anyone advise if OnSSI has a product similar to Milestone Xprotect Corporate (seperate management server etc.).
Vendor is suggesting Ocularis with associated recorder over Xprotect Corporate. Thoughts appreciated.

I'd actually go with OnSSI. Until recently OnSSI was basically rebranding Milestone's products here in the US. Following the dissolution of the agreement Milestone began directly offering their XProtect software and OnSSI built Ocularis in the aftermath. They've come to a new agreement now and Milestone is again supplying OnSSI with the engine to run their new Ocularis platform. In other words, underneath, there is not much of a difference.

That said, my company switched from OnSSI to Milestone last year and though XProtect works well enough, Ocularis has some really sexy new features I've seen demoed and put to use elsewhere. I'm hoping Milestone beefs up XProtect sometime soon, but Ocularis has a way better end-user experience from what I can tell.

Go with Ocularis, your surveillance operators will thank you.
