need advice for a system in a garage

Hi people,

i want build a little (not expensive) system of security camera in a garage how is far from my house.



so all image/movie do not as to be recorded in the garage (in the #A (see picture)) but on one of my server.

so from my seach it appear the major camera are in RCA (composite) juste ?

but i dont know what i need for

• establish a connection to the internet
  A- by ADSL directly from #A (mean modem inside) or i can put a ADSL modem near #A connection by RJ45 i guess
  B- by WiFi ? i can connect to a private WiFi network but is only a 802.11g this is enough to support 3cam + live video + upload to FTP ?
  
  
• connect up to 5cam (for begin only one)
  
• do not record the pic/video locally
  
• upload pic/video to a ftp server
  
• able to see in dark
  
• detection of movement (may be with area limitation)
  
• have a live acces
  
• can controle PTZ cam (for a futur use)
  
• define a automatique waypoint path for the PTZ (dont know the name of this function)
  
• connect a mic and a speaker.(to ear what happen in garage and maybe talk inside the garage)
  

So what #A do i need ?

Any network camera is going to do the job you describe.

Is your garage heated/cooled at all times?

Do you want night vision?

What recording software do you plan to use?

etc...

We need more information to suggest you some cameras.

yes i need night vison.

the garage is never under 10°C-50°F and never above 22°C-72°F

i dont know for the software but one how do:

• ptz
  
• voice in (to ear what happen in garage)
  
• detection of movement (or better missingt object)
  
• record video and picture
  
• live view
  
• alarm on signal lost
  
• email
