check out www.barix.com

They have devices doing mp3 streaming which could be recorded.

I used this: http://www.barix.com/Annuncicom_100/421/ to work with www.c-mor.us

Good luck!

Michael

We had one of our fixed wireless outdoor IP camera systems customized by Wirelessoutdoorcam to have both an amplified microphone and a weather proof speaker for a gate entrance at a job site that works pretty good.

We could also also use one of our outdoor wireless IP PTZ systems by www.WirelessOutdoorCam.com but that's not that practical for a security gate. The PTZ's are better utilized in locations where there is a greater area to cover. Why waste money on functionality in locations that don't need it. Save your $ for the highend needs.

The actual camera manufacturer is Hikvision and the software is DVR & NVR by Netvision and the integrated wireless bridge system is by WirelessOutdoorCam. The IP cameras have a very good picture, even their low end one. And they all have a microphone and speaker port for two way speaking. We are actually using amplified outdoor microphones on some cameras to help notify the security guard (or wake him up!) to look at the cameras.
