Well true, but as soon you need a second cam (and I am sure you will soon) you should reconsider that. a 26 cam version of Blue Iris is US$49.95.

I'd have a look on blue iris as recording systen. It is PC windows based and supports up to 26 cameras, no matter if IP, capture card or usb cams.

If you setup one AP as bridge, you have to setup the other as bridge too - a bridge always has 2 sides to enter Smile

However you loose your wlan ability for any other devices with that.
