Summary
We installed the camera in a race car at the local stock car track. It performed quite well. We set up our WiFi AP in the middle of the track and used 802.11b for range, but we still had some dropout points. Considering the vibrations and motion of the car we were able to get some excellent video. We were even able to move the cammera in the car, but the odd time the pan gear would jam. This was easily fixed by removing the power from it once the car was stopped. We now have the camera installed at the office and it still works great.
