Strengths Small and very flexible.
Weaknesses Motion detection is a con - it should be called 'image change detection', as it responds to changing light levels as well as movement. This causes it to false fire when lighting changes due to sun/cloud. (Proper motion detection should have been based on internal MPEG motion vectors...)
MPEG4 is only 'simple profile' and could be better.
Summary Good overall but motion detection is very prone to false triggering when light levels change.
