linksys pvc2300 vs axis 207
I'm looking at installing 7 of either one of these cameras. I am trying to keep the cost at $300 for each cam and have them monitored and recorded thru a NVR. I am looking at using POE and would use injectors if I use the axis.

I believe the problem is that both the camera and the software can ftp and email which is useful for the periodic emails or upload to a website etc BUT the detection mechanism is only in the IPview software and not the camera itself.
