This is a costly upgrade from the M1011-W and not sure it's worth it. The image quality is nowhere near as good, but I do like the PIR motion detect which is dead on reliable, never had a false positive yet. Works well with all browsers and programming is good. Don't rely on the white light, it just defeats any attempts to make the camera covert.... (see the full review here)

Nice to play with for some days (i borrowed one) but for good results and a crisp image you need to buy a megapixel camera with IR support and day/night functionality.

Despite the image quality issue, it is still a great camera for its price, I think that Axis should consider to replace the lens for adjustable one (like 207).
However, 1011 & 1031 cameras are the best choice for homes & small offices so far.
