Iv got my VB-C50ir set up and can view it fine over my network but I cant get it to work on my static IP

I have a Canon Vb-c50ir and I am having problems viewing it through java through the internet, but I can view it through the local network.. How do I go about doing this... Any help would be appreciated..

Anyone had any good luck with the Canon VB-C50ir. I just installed two of these on our ranch and I personally think they are alot better than the axis 213 camera system we have a mile or so away.. Anyone have any negatives about the axis 213 ptz or canon.. Any comments I would love to hear..
