Design: 8.0 / 10 It's not the pretiest thing to look at, but it's functional and seems pretty solidly built.
Image Quality: 8.0 / 10 It's not perfect, but you should know what you're getting into when you buy a camera like this, it's better than a cheapy web cam, but it's still grainy and low light conditions are not it's strong point.
Easy of Use: 8.0 / 10 I found it pretty easy to get this going, you just have to read the manual (go figure:). They have a quick start guide and a CD with installation instructions and programs packed in, that were clear and enabled me to get this up and running without a hitch. It may be confusing for some to set it up to work with their router (but that is not the cameras fault, they have basic instructions on how to setup port forwarding, but if you have no experience with configuring your router, you may become frustrated, but you only need that if you want to view the camera over the internet ourside of your LAN).
Connectivity: 9.9 / 10 Very easy, just a cat-5 wire and wall plug, and you're up and running. The included CD will automatically detect the camera, list it's assigned IP, and you're ready to go...
Other Features: 5.0 / 10 This is a very bare bones kit, no extra frills. I still gave it a "5/10" because it does come with sufficient documentation and a handy little adjustable stand that you can mount the camera on.
Strengths easy to use, setup was quick, good documentation, good install software (automatically detected my camera after I plugged it into the router), nice mount/stand includes.
Weaknesses No frills, not the pretiest camera design (not that it matters), not very good in low light (but you can't really expect it to be at this price point).
Summary Good for what it is, a cheap, no frills, IP camera. Video quality is adequate, and setup was easy (as long as you follow the instructions). Don't expect crystal clear video (you would be crazy to think that for what these units sell for). I have it set up in my CNC shop so I can leave a project and check in on it from different locations, and it serves that purpose very well.
