If you can get it cheap and don't mind that it looks like a kids toy, it's an ok camera. The Vivotek IP7131 is a much nicer camera, but for a camera with low light capability you'll have to go a much more expensive camera from Vivotek IP7151 or FD6112V or PZ6112, or switch to another brand. For the price you might be better of with some of trendnet's cheaper infrared cameras, or a linksys WVC200.... (see the full review here) |

Overall, I think this camera is alright. It uses a few new technologies Vivotek has not used before so there are some bugs. Like I mentioned, the FTP does not work, RTSP only works within the local network and the frames per second isn't that great. Once they get the bugs figured out, I'm sure it will be a great step forward for Vivotek.... (see the full review here) |
