Videolarm Unveils New Interactive Website

Decatur, GA – (2/16/06) – Videolarm, Inc., the industry leader in innovative video surveillance solutions, recently announced its newly redesigned fully interactive website – www.videolarm.com.

Boasting over a hundred items, the new Videolarm.com navigates viewers through a wealth of product knowledge by providing: item specifications, model features, architectural drawings, camera specifications, optional components and accessories. Another exciting feature is the 3rd party camera compatibility search engine. This interactive tool assists customers in selecting the appropriate Videolarm housing(s) with 3rd party cameras (i.e. Sony, Panasonic, JVC, Axis, etc…).

The information available through the site proves beneficial in not only educating viewers on Videolarm’s product line, but to better understand the ever expanding video surveillance industry. From IP Ready™ network cameras to the traditional CCTV analogue systems, the new Videolarm.com clearly outlines the benefits of each and guides the viewer towards the best solution.

“We are extremely excited about the versatility of the new Videolarm.com,” proclaimed Jimmy Pfaffenberger, VP of Sales & Marketing. “Not only will the site act as a doorway for new customers into Videolarm’s extensive product offering, but the site will also act as an ongoing tool for our existing customer base.”

As Pfaffenberger mentioned, the new Videolarm.com also acts as a resource tool for its existing customer base by providing information on replacement parts, camera compatibility, and product instructions. Future upgrades of the site will incorporate a “Tech-Help” section which will enable existing customers to download software updates, calculate bandwidth, and locate wireless IP addresses.

When asked what was his favorite aspect of the site, Pfaffenberger quickly replied, “I would have to say the personal account option. By creating a personal account with Videolarm.com, a viewer will be able to view their personal pricing structure, participate in the Warehouse Sale section of the site, and the ability to create customized projects for future purchase.”
