Baxall launches IP mini dome high-resolution camera
Baxall will launch their new IP mini dome in their range of ICE cameras at IFSEC this year. The Baxall ICE Fixed Mini Dome is a high-resolution colour/monochrome camera. It has a 1/3”CCD sensor, and uses MPEG4 compression to deliver high quality images at a high frame rate.
The Baxall ICE IP Camera will be introduced in to the market in June 2007. It is suited for applications where the look and ambience of the camera within its surroundings is paramount, and where discreet high quality surveillance over a network is important, such as banks and retail outlets.
The robust ICED-IPCM3H39 has intelligent installation features which focus on making life easier for the installer. There are no tools required to focus the camera, and the camera module can be positioned easily via a 3 Axis GyroView setup. The service lead connection on the face of the dome simplifies setup when connected to a hand held monitor. When replacing the bubble there is no optical shift in the image.
It will deliver 4CIF quality images at 25 frames per second, allowing real time viewing over the network. There is no limit to the number of Baxall ICE IP Domes that can make up a CCTV system, giving superior scalability. Because the Dome transmits digital images, they can be instantly stored to hard disk with no degradation of quality.
The IP Dome has distributed viewing, meaning any number of CCTV operators can view it at any one time, for a flexible and expandable system.
The Baxall ICE MPEG4 mini dome can be used for discreet surveillance over a network. Its special features include superior image quality, a modern stylish look and feel, and new features to expedite installation and commissioning. This camera excels in situations where capturing detail is essential.
