IP Network Camera Surveillance Software Companies
About AXCESS International
AXCESS International (OTCBB: AXSI.OB) provides radio frequency identification (RFID) for physical security and supply chain management. The battery-powered ?active? tags locate, identify, track, monitor, count and protect people, assets, inventory and vehicles. AXCESS' Active RFID solutions are supported by integrated network-based, streaming digital video (or IPTV) technology. Both patented technologies enable applications including: automatic ?hands-free? personnel and vehicle access control, automatic electronic asset management, and network-based security surveillance.
ActiveTag? RFID System
In order to address the new security challenges of the 21st century, building access control technology has to evolve past the limitations and burden of manually presenting an ID card or credential tag to gain authorized entry. The ActiveTag? long-range, hands-free system enables the user to gain access without swiping a card or pushing any buttons, thereby improving the speed and efficiency of authorized access. The RFID identification card can be linked to tagged vehicles for automatic gate entry. It can also be linked to tagged assets such as laptops for the automatic protection of the asset and its intellectual property, also called electronic article surveillance (or EAS). The Active Tag has a pre-loaded biometric reader so, for example the stored fingerprint is ready to be matched to the live read, again improving throughput.
The flexibility of the ActiveTag? System makes it well suited for a variety of applications including:
* Vehicle Access Control
* Personnel Access Control
* Mobile Asset Protection and Tracking
* Automatic Inventory Control and Tracking
* Personnel Life Safety Inventory (e.g. ?mustering?)
* Sensor Monitoring
Prism Video? System
The AXCESS Prism Video product line offers a full, end-to-end networked digital video system for the enterprise providing remote and local video monitoring and recording. By using network video cameras, the video is placed on an existing network infrastructure, thereby reducing cabling costs and providing flexible and immediate viewing on or off-site. Video is recorded on a hard disk, which allows for inexpensively increasing storage capacity and enhancing video playback features. AXCESS' products interface with most legacy systems, so existing analog-based CCTV systems don't become obsolete, further reducing the cost of the security system.
