IP Network Camera Surveillance Software Companies
About Exacq Technologies, Inc.
Based in Indianapolis, Exacq Technologies was created by a group that pioneered the digital video surveillance industry. Exacq Technologies is a manufacturer of IP and hybrid (analog and IP) network video recording systems and OEM products for the security industry.
Designed to integrate with any IT infrastructure, the exacqVision IP software is a full-featured network video surveillance system that easily installs and operates on a Windows XP computer. exacqVision IP uses the latest IP network cameras from manufacturers like Axis, IQinVision and Sony which offer dramatically higher video resolutions than standard analog cameras, increased camera functionality, and greater installation flexibility. IP cameras utilize existing IT networks instead of requiring additional coaxial (analog) cabling. Cameras are connected to the network via standard CAT-5 network cables or with a wireless connection. PTZ functionality is available without the need for additional wiring. The latest version of the exacqVision software (2.0) provides Digital PTZ control over any camera with the click of a mouse. Power over Ethernet (PoE) is also available on some camera models. The exacqVision user interface is intuitive, requiring little to no training. Each exacqVision IP system is fully scalable with other exacqVision systems, including the exacqVision Pro line of network digital video recorders which feature both analog and IP cameras.
exacqVision IP is designed to be an inexpensive (MSRP of $150 per channel), yet complete surveillance solution for small, mid-range and even enterprise level installations. Pricing is based on the number of IP cameras (channels) per networked system—regardless of where they are installed. There is no difficult or costly licensing procedure required for installing cameras initially or adding more cameras later. Camera channels can be easily added as the surveillance network grows. Installation of IP cameras is simple with the assistance of the exacqVision IP QuickStart guide. Once the cameras are properly installed, configuration is also easy and can be performed using the exacqVision IP software. The end result is a cost-effective state-of-the-art IP surveillance system that is simple to sell and install. |
